How do I postpone / reschedule my meeting?

Need to postpone your upcoming meeting? Your Zoom.ai assistant is built to handle meeting rescheduling so you can quickly get back to work. Your assistant takes care of moving the meeting, finding the best time, updating calendar invites and notifying all attendees.

Need to make a change to an active meeting request? Sometimes after sending out a meeting request your needs change based on new information. Zoom.ai makes it easy ask your invitees to select a time based on an updated meeting timeframe or duration.  Alternatively you can instantly schedule to a specific date and time if needed.

Rescheduling via Chat

From your favourite chat platform - such as Slack or MSTeams ask your meeting assistant to "reschedule meeting" or "postpone meeting". Your assistant will then ask you which meeting (which you can select by Attendee, Subject or Date Range).

Next you will be asked what you want to change and can enter a specific date and time (e.g. "August 8 at 10am") to move your meeting to a predetermined time, or specify a wider time range (e.g. "August 8 - 10th" or "next week") to ask your invitees to choose another time that works.
  • Specifying a specific date and time will automatically move the meeting to that time (and even book a new room for you, if you used the Zoom.ai room booking integration!)
  • Specifying a time range will cancel the original meeting and send an email invite to your invitees asking them to select a new time to meet (within that range) based on your availability.

On Yes the meeting will be rescheduled and the meeting attendees will be automatically notified of the meeting changes.
